We set out to develop the most advanced bridle system for Icelandic horses, and we believe we have succeeded.

Equitec bridles are developed by Icelandic horse expert, Karen Lindal (certified horse trainer and BSc from Hola University in Iceland) and offer you and your horse a range of truly unique features.

Comfort Lux

In our Comfort Lux series, we have developed our own Quick Change System, which allows you to quickly and easily replace your browband and noseband with one of over 50 unique designs, many of them with original Swarovski elements. In the Comfort Lux series, you will also find several different designs of headpieces, which we have designed with ear freedom, carefully lined so that the bridles do not bother your horse in any way. We have added pressure-distributing poll pads that help your horse perform better.

Comfort Fit

Our Comfort Fit series of bridles are robust working bridles, designed in quality and function to be used many hours a day. With this series of bridles, you get a product that lasts and that your horse enjoys working in. The bridles are more traditionally designed than our flagship Comfort Lux series, but don't let that confuse you. We have considered every single detail, and you also get a long list of unique features here: Carefully lined browband and noseband that fit perfectly on your horse and ensure no rub marks.

All Equitec bridles are carefully handmade from the best quality leather from Argentina. Everything from cutting, stitching, finishing, and polishing is carefully handcrafted, and together with our unique designs, we believe we have the finest quality bridles on the market.
