Here you will find our terms and conditions, which apply to all purchases on equitec.dk. You are, of course, always welcome to contact us if you have any further questions.

You must be 18 years or older to shop on equitec.dk. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of your parents.

1. PRICES

All prices include 25% VAT and are in Danish Kroner (DKK). Prices at the time of order are valid. Any shipping and delivery costs will be disclosed before your purchase.

2. MAINTENANCE

Damage due to lack of maintenance is not covered by the right to claim. It is therefore important that you regularly maintain your product. Before and after use, you should check that everything is as it should be. Look for damage, maintain leather products with grease, etc.

3. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY COSTS

Shipping prices:

Denmark DKK 40 - free shipping for purchases over DKK 500.

EU DKK 100 - free shipping for purchases over DKK 1500.

Norway, Iceland and Switzerland DKK 300 - free shipping for purchases over DKK 2000.

We send all goods with General Logistics System (GLS) or PostNord, which offer reliable parcel distribution. All packages are sent with a recipient receipt – meaning that a signature is required upon receipt. It is therefore important that you provide an address where there is a person who can receive and sign for the goods. If you inform us that the goods can be left at a specific location, even if there is no one to sign for the receipt of the goods, you bear full responsibility and risk for the goods from the time of delivery. The typical delivery time in Denmark for stock items is approximately 1-3 working days.

If Equitec receives returned goods due to incorrect or incomplete information about the delivery address, you must cover the delivery costs for re-sending the goods to the correct address. We therefore ask you to provide us with precise information about the delivery address.

If you are not home to receive the shipment as agreed, you will receive a note with information that you need to pick up your package at the nearest GLS parcel shop or PostNord pick-up point. If you do not contact GLS / Post Danmark within 5 calendar days, the item will be sent back to Equitec. If you then wish for us to resend the item to you, you must pay the full delivery costs, regardless of whether the shipment is made with GLS or another shipping company.

4. PAYMENT

You can pay for goods using Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, MobilePay or Maestro.

We accept payment with Anyday.
The amount will not be debited from your card until the item is shipped.
When you choose to pay with Anyday, the first payment is deducted when the item is shipped. Thereafter, you will pay your monthly installment on the last working day of the coming month, and for three months forward.
No fees or interest will be added to your purchase, provided you pay on time. If you return your purchase, the agreement with Anyday will automatically terminate.

If you pay by credit card, you are protected against misuse. You have the option to reject a payment when you receive your payment overview. Data you send in connection with purchases paid by credit card are encrypted (SSL), and thus only PBS can read them. Neither equitec.dk nor others can read this data. The amount for the goods is only debited when the goods are shipped from equitec.dk. A larger amount can never be debited than what you approved at the time of purchase.

We do not send by cash on delivery.

You can also buy with Anyday, where you can split your payment. You pay the first installment when the item is delivered, and the remaining amount is paid over the following 3 months. 5. PERSONAL DATA

In order to send you goods and provide optimal service, we register your name, address, phone number, and email. The information is treated confidentially and is not disclosed to third parties. Thus, only Equitec has access to the information. We do not register any sensitive personal data.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

YOU ALWAYS HAVE A 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL WHEN SHOPPING ON EQUITEC.DK. THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL APPLIES FROM THE DAY YOU RECEIVED YOUR ITEM. THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL CAN ONLY BE EXERCISED IF THE ITEM IS RETURNED IN ESSENTIALLY THE SAME CONDITION AND QUANTITY. THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL LAPSES IF YOU USE THE ITEM IN A WAY THAT CLEARLY SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES ITS SALES VALUE. WHEN EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, YOU MUST PAY THE SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNING THE ITEM. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT PACKAGES SENT CASH ON DELIVERY.

YOU CAN ALSO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL BY REFUSING TO ACCEPT THE ITEM FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY OR BY DELIVERING THE ITEM PERSONALLY TO OUR ADDRESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE USE OF SADDLES, CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT LEADS TO A REDUCTION IN THE SALES VALUE OF THE ITEM, AS SIGNS OF WEAR EASILY OCCUR. THIS MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IF YOU USE THE ITEM.

IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNTIL YOU HAVE DECIDED WHETHER YOU WANT TO KEEP THE PURCHASED ITEM OR NOT. LACK OF PACKAGING CAN, IN SOME CASES, MEAN THAT THE SALES VALUE OF THE ITEM IS REDUCED, AND THUS THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL CANNOT BE EXERCISED. FOR PURCHASES OF PRODUCTS WHERE THERE ARE SPECIFICATIONS, INSTRUCTIONS, WARNINGS OR OTHER ESSENTIAL INFORMATION ON THE PACKAGING, THE INTACT ORIGINAL PACKAGING IS ALWAYS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE ITEM'S VALUE. THE PACKAGING MUST THEREFORE ALWAYS BE RETURNED FOR THE CONDITIONS FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL TO BE MET. WE ASK YOU TO ENSURE THAT THE ITEM IS PROPERLY PACKAGED SO THAT NO SHIPPING DAMAGE OCCURS IN CONNECTION WITH THE RETURN.

IF WE ASSESS THAT THE CONDITIONS FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL ARE NOT MET, WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL WITH A MORE DETAILED EXPLANATION.

7. RIGHT TO CLAIM

When you shop on equitec.dk, you have a 24-month right to claim (5 years on saddle trees). This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, receive a refund, or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. This is conditional on the claim being justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product, damaging behavior, use of incorrect voltage, current type, collisions and accidents, vandalism or similar.

Claims must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the item. If a claim is made within 2 months after the defect is discovered, the claim will always be considered timely.

We will pay reasonable shipping costs for returning the item when the claim is justified. Always remember to return the item in proper packaging.

In case of a claim, we ask you to send us an email to info@equitec.dk with information about the reason for the claim. We will then send you a shipping label and ask you to drop off the item at the nearest GLS parcel shop for return.

Procedure for claims:

1. Send an email to Equitec at info@equitec.dk with a clear indication of the reason for the claim.

2. If the claim is justified, Equitec will send you a shipping label by email.

3. You deliver the claimed item to a GLS parcel shop (the nearest one will be provided by Equitec).

You cannot submit claims without having received a return shipping label from us.

Once we have received your returned item, we will contact you to arrange the further process. Please note that we do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or packages without an accompanying error description.

Should it turn out that the item does not suffer from defects or deficiencies covered by the right to claim, you must pay equitec.dk a standard handling fee of DKK 150. You must also pay for the return shipping. Equitec is entitled to demand payment of the handling fee and return shipping before the item is returned to you.

8. REPAIRS

If you wish for us to repair an item, please use the same procedure as for claims. If you do not wish for a repair to be carried out, we will, by agreement, return the item to you, whereby you are obliged to pay a handling fee of DKK 150. You must also pay the return shipping. equitec.dk is entitled to demand payment of the handling fee and return shipping before the item is returned to you.

If you have sent an item for withdrawal, claim, or repair, you will always receive an email when we have received the item. In the email, you will receive information about the further process in connection with the handling of your case.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Equitec cannot be held liable for indirect losses, including consequential damages, loss of operations and revenue, loss of profit, loss of time, loss of enjoyment or other indirect losses, unless otherwise follows from the generally mandatory rules of Danish law.

10. PRODUCT LIABILITY

Equitec's product liability follows the general rules of Danish law for product liability. Product liability for commercial damage and product liability based on case law is limited to DKK 100,000 including VAT. This limitation does not apply to personal injury. To the extent that nothing else follows from mandatory legal rules, equitec.dk is not liable for loss of operations, loss of profit, or other indirect losses.

11. PERSONAL DATA POLICY

On equitec.dk, "session cookies" are used to keep track of what you have placed in your shopping cart while navigating the website and for log statistics with the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionalities.

We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the goods to you.

Personal data is registered with equitec.dk and stored for 5 years (5 years due to requirements from the Danish Bookkeeping Act), after which the data is deleted. When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it always happens with your explicit consent, so that you are informed precisely what data is collected and why. The director of equitec.dk has access to the data registered about you.

We do not store customer information encrypted. We transmit customer information encrypted.

Information provided to equitec.dk is not disclosed or sold to third parties in any way, and we do not register any sensitive personal information.

As a registered user with equitec.dk, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to insight into what information is registered about you. These rights are yours under the Personal Data Act, and inquiries in this regard should be directed to equitec.dk via email: info@equitec.dk

12. IMAGES AND TEXTS

Equitec Aps holds all rights, including copyrights, to all images and text reproduced on equitec.dk.

Images or text from equitec.dk may not be copied, reproduced, or similar without prior written permission from Equitec. All rights reserved. Infringement of the aforementioned rights is subject to liability.

13. DISPUTES

Any disagreement arising from the purchase and ordering of goods, etc., from equitec.dk is subject to Danish law.

14. DISCLAIMER

EQUITEC.DK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS, PRICING ERRORS, COLOR DEVIATIONS IN IMAGES, AND OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS.
